（1）应设置在该排烟系统高排烟口的上部，并应设在用耐火极限不小于2.5h的隔墙隔开的机房内，机房的门应采用耐火极限不低于0.6h的防火门。

（3）排烟风机与排烟道的连接方式应合理。实践证明，因为排烟风机与排烟风道连接方式不正确，常常会引起风机的性能显著下降。
(3) The connection between exhaust fan and exhaust flue should be reasonable. It has been proved that the performance of the fan is often decreased because of the incorrect connection between the exhaust fan and the exhaust duct.
（4）排烟风机与排烟口应设有连锁装置。当任何一个排烟口开启时，排烟风机即能自动启动。即一经报警，确认发牛火灾时，由手动或由消防控制室遥控开启排烟口，则排烟风机立即投入运行，同时立即关闭着火区的通风空调系统。
(4) The smoke exhaust fan and smoke outlet shall be equipped with interlock device. When any smoke outlet is opened, the smoke exhaust fan can start automatically. That is to say, once the fire alarm is given and the smoke exhaust outlet is opened manually or remotely by the fire control room, the smoke exhaust fan will be put into operation immediately and the ventilation and air conditioning system in the fire area will be shut down immediately.
（5）排烟风机应设在混凝土或钢架基础上，但可不设置减振装置。风机吸人口管道上不应设有调节装置。
(5) The smoke exhaust fan shall be set on the concrete or steel frame foundation, but vibration damping device may not be set. There should be no regulating device on the suction pipe of the fan.
